We love kids of all ages, from babies to 5th graders! Our Nursery Coordinator, Ms. Anita, is kind, loving, and shares stories from the Bible with babies up to K3. She and her team create a safe and secure environment, and work hard to keep things clean and tidy. If you have any questions, just call the office.
For K4 through 5th graders, we have many programs available. Every Sunday at 9:45 AM, we offer Sunday School for all ages with caring teachers who bring the Bible to life. Sunday nights at 6 PM, we have Life Groups for kids where they explore their faith and grow their relationship with Jesus through projects and discussions.
On Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, we have FBC Kids, which includes interactive activities, Bible studies, and weekly challenges. Kids can even earn points for fun trips at the end of the semester! We also offer a free meal at 5:45 PM for children who want to come before FBC Kids. If you have any questions, contact our Children's Director, Tanner Sefcik, at the church office.
At our church, we have a deep appreciation for our youth! From 6th to 12th grade, we always have amazing events and programs going on. Our Youth & Family Pastor, Bro Brock, and his team of youth volunteers are committed to teaching and loving on all of our youth. They are always kind, loving, and willing to share their knowledge with anyone who asks. Bro Brock and his team's ultimate goal is to ensure that no youth is left behind and that each one is shared with, discipled, and loved on. They work tirelessly to ensure the safety of our youth.
Our youth ministry offers a range of programs that your youth can join. We have a thriving Sunday School, which takes place every Sunday at 9:45 AM. The class is open to both middle school and high school students, and we have caring and amazing lead teachers who are always prepared to share the Word. On Sunday evenings at 6 PM, we have Life Groups throughout the church. For our youth, we have two groups, one for guys and one for girls. During this time, they work on various projects and explore ideas that help grow their faith and relationship with Jesus.
Wednesdays are particularly exciting for our youth, with the REACH Student Ministries kicking off at 6:30 PM. The program features interactive activities, Bible studies, weekly challenges, and even point-earning opportunities for fun end-of-semester trips. Before REACH Student Ministries, we offer a free meal to all youth who want to come at 5:45 PM. Men's Ministry at Coalgate FBC is designed for our men to understand how to lead their lives as Christ leads the Church. We believe that the men are the humble leader in the home and that they set the example for others to follow. Our goal in men's ministry is to create a brotherhood in Christ that cannot be broken by anything the flesh, the world, or the devil can throw at them. Men are to be genuinely humble and to follow God's Word in all aspects of life. We encourage men to be accountable to one another and to show encouragement in times of need. Our men in our church are to be mighty warriors for Christ!
At Coalgate FBC, women's ministry is all about fulfilling the design set forth in Proverbs 31:30 "A woman who fears the Lord is to be praised". We believe very strongly that a Godly woman accounts for much of the shaping of a Godly home. We know that a woman's real strength comes from the Lord and if she isn't connected to a group of Godly women who encourage her, then it becomes much more difficult to live the Proverbs 31 way.
